Stock/Warrant/CBBC Position: Market Value = Size × Current Price

Option Position: Market Value = Size × Contract Multiplier × Current Price

What is Current Price?

Except for US stocks, Current Price is the market price during the regular trading hours and the closing price for non-regular trading hours.

The trading hours for US stocks comprise the pre-market hours, the regular trading hours, and the post-market hours. Moomoo AU supports setting Current Price for each trading period (To do so, please go to Settings > Trade > Position Display > US Stock MV and P/L Calculation).

If you select the pre-market and post-market prices, Current Price will be the market price during the corresponding trading hours; if you don’t select them, the closing price for the regular trading hours will be used as Current Price by default.

For non-trading hours, if the post-market price is not selected, then the closing price for the regular trading hours will be used. If the post-market price is selected, then the closing price for the post-market hours will be used from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. ET, and the closing price for the regular trading hours will be used from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. ET. The corresponding Australian times are as follows.
